Safety for our guests and staff has always been a top priority for Nordic Hotels. We want our guests to know that we are doing everything we can to welcome them back to a safe and clean hotel environment when they start traveling again. We continuously monitor the COVID19 situation closely and follow the recommendations of our local health authorities.
Here is a list of things we do at Nordic Hotels Nigeria:
Although we love to meet our guests with handshakes and laughs, we will make sure to keep a safe distance between guests and the staff. Signs and visual cues are installed to remind our guests to practice social distancing.
All members of staff undergo weekly training sessions. We have introduced new hygiene protocols that prevent the spread of covid19 and other transmissible viruses and make you feel safe. This required new forms for training which we have put in motion. Staff washes and sanitize hands after every encounter. Every Staff member is required to stay home if feeling unwell.
We disinfect and clean all hard surfaces frequently throughout the day. We place special care to high-touch areas. We use hospital-grade hygiene cleaning and disinfectant products.
We have installed hand sanitizers in our public areas, which contains alcohol-based hand sanitizer for our guests.
TO ARRIVING GUESTS
You are always welcome at Nordic Hotels Nigeria, whether you are a staying guest, meeting guest, or just dropping out for a coffee. We have listed a few good-to-know points here:
We know everything is a bit uncertain and maybe a tad confusing. When arriving at our hotels, we make sure to inform you of the safety procedures and guidelines to follow and how to keep safe
We encourage you to keep our staff safe by paying with either local or international cards. We still do accept cash if necessary.
BE AWARE OF SYMPTOMS
If you feel any COVID19 symptoms, please respect our staff and other guests and do not enter the hotel. Call us, and we will help you get to a doctor.
Our room keys are disinfected several times during the day.
EXTRA CLEAN ROOMS
We have improved the daily cleaning of all hotel rooms. We use hospital-grade disinfectant cleaning products, and we pay even more attention to high-touch items.

Our lobby bar and outdoor lounge areas are open, and you can safely enjoy it.

We still serve you great drinks and snacks, although with extra care and distance between seatings.
The outdoor lounge is for you to enjoy the beautiful weather in Nigeria, enjoy breakfast, or hang out during the day. These areas are also cleaned and disinfected throughout the day.
