Lagos Weather
The weather in Lagos is always warm and often cloudy. Lagos’ weather is a “tropical climate”.
The weather follows two main seasons – a dry season and a wet season. You will know what to expect from the weather in Lagos. It is pretty stable with temperatures between 28-32 degrees Celsius during the day and 22-24 degrees Celsius during the night. It is pretty humid, but being on the coast provides a little breeze. The sun does not shine very often in Lagos compared to, for example, Abuja, so it is mostly cloudy.
The weather in Nigeria is fantastic for growing fruits, and in the local markets, as well as the supermarkets, you will find a fine variety of fruits grown locally all year round. You will always find a delicious selection of watermelons, bananas, pineapples, mangos, and much more.
