The weather in Lagos is always warm and often cloudy. Lagos weather is a “tropical climate”.
The weather follows two main seasons – a dry season and a wet season. You will know what to expect from the weather in Lagos. It is quite stable with temparatures between 28-32 degree celsius during the day and 22-24 degree celsius during night. It is quite humid, but being on the coast provides a little breeze. The sun does not shine very often in Lagos compared to e.g. Abuja, so it is mostly cloudy weather.
The weather in Nigeria is great for growing fruits, and in the local markets as well as the supermarkets you will find a fine variety of fruits grown locally all year round. You will always find a delicious selection of watermelons, bananas, pineapples, mangos and much more.
