Abuja Weather
Abuja enjoys consistently warm weather, with bright sunshine most of the year. Temperatures typically range between 26°C and 40°C, and the city experiences a tropical wet and dry climate.
There are two distinct seasons: the dry season and the rainy season. Even during the dry months, Abuja remains lush and green, thanks to its fertile soil.
The climate is ideal for growing fruits, and you’ll find an abundance of locally grown produce year-round in both supermarkets and local markets. Expect a delicious variety of mangoes, pineapples, bananas, watermelons, and more.
Rainy Season
The rainy season begins in late March or early April and lasts until October or November. During this time, the weather becomes more humid, and daytime temperatures typically range from 26°C to 30°C. Nights can feel cool, with temperatures dropping to around 20°C, and occasionally as low as 14°C. After a chilly night, daytime temperatures usually rise back to around 30°C, making for pleasant days despite the rains.
